The A-Rad team consists of skilled radiographers specifically trained in to work in the dedicated fields: Vascular, Cardiac, Urology, Neurology, Orthopedic, Pediatric & General Surgery. The radiographers are HPCSA registered and the practice assists each radiographer with obtaining CPD points. The practice provides each radiographer with their own dosimeter and monitors their radiation.
A call roster will be emailed to the theatre reception on a weekly basis, with contact
details of the dedicated radiographer. An sms will also be sent on a Friday to inform
each surgeon of their radiographer on call for the weekend.
